How to create a QR code for a link or Wi-Fi

QR codes connect the physical and digital worlds in one scan. This guide makes a custom code in your browser, ready to print.

Steps

  1. Open the QR generator and choose what to encode — a link, text, Wi-Fi or contact.
  2. Fill in the details, such as the URL or Wi-Fi name and password.
  3. Adjust colors and add a logo if you want it on brand.
  4. Set a resolution high enough for where it will be printed.
  5. Download a PNG or SVG and place it on your design.

Tips

  • Keep links short so the code stays simple and scans reliably.
  • Leave a white margin around the code and keep strong color contrast.
